Okay, just for the record - who do I have playing in these campaigns? Comment with which campaign you're in, and character name if you have one so far. I have a list already, but this is just a 'for the record' post. Also, making sure that the Steampunk players know where my journal is.

Yeah, that's the kind of character that will live on past the campaign. That gambler of mine? Nope. Dwarven Dark Knight evangelist? Not so much. Audra? Yes. Setor? More yes.

I digress. Yeah, I'll be remembering Holi.

A Dwarven Dark Knight Evangelist sounds like an awesome character. Who were Audra and Setor?

Audra: Time Dragoon. Instead of leaping through the air, she leapt forward through time and used temporal distortions to blast enemies. Was highly prone to overdramatic maneuvers. Let's just say that if the Walking Disaster trait had existed then...

Well, there was an incident with an ancient tablet and a fire demon that's best left untold for now. Rook remembers it, I bet.

Setor was a Yeti Barbarian. He was big, strong, broken rules-wise, and happy. Yay, friends! Setor be happy now- machine hurt friends? MACHINE GO SMASH.

Fun to play. Very fun. Just turn off brain and be happy. He was downright immortal, frankly. I think that he only got knocked out two or three times all campaign. He also got blasted to the moon once. And then there was the whole bit with being on the outside of a space station...really immortal.

Alas, the Dark Knight Evangelist didn't get much playtime. I'll see what I can remember of him later. So, want to sum up your favourite or most memorable characters?

My first was Deru. Deru started out as a normal Charmander, and in the space of one session, became an orphan, started a war with the Caterpies, known forevermore as THE GREAT ENEMY, and confirmed that he was unable to "kill" apples. In his second session, he hid under a large bowl, and the two were never to be parted again. The bowl became his shelter, home, umbrella, bed, and surrogate mother. Deru has seen new life on NG, where I have infused him with the spirit of FMP's Sagara for reactions in moments of stress.

Imp is a Sneasel morph with two personalities. The primary, or at least most useful, personality, is a garbage scrounging Sneasel who currently serves as the morph's quartermaster. Unfortunately for him, he switches minds whenever he hears a clicking noise, changing from hardened alley rat to hapless tourist. He still hasn't figure out why the dining isn't up to spec.

Gavin is currently the operating head of the NG base. His first act as a character, ever, was to get the prisoners to sign liability waivers and put them on the Rocket payroll. That way, if they ever broke out, they were likely to go down with him. He's also on his second incarnation, having become a father who is trying to get back in touch with his children after a ten year separation. Unfortunately, they're getting caught up in the NG business.

Other notables include Tanan, a trickster-in-training Vulpix who had a habit of getting into places he shouldn't, and Siegfried, a Kadabra who worked as a medical aide before having a nervous breakdown.
