A meme in place of an actual post...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.
It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.
When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your LJ and see what your friends come up with.
(Right, I'll actually post something...later.)

And that big old bass jumped out of the water, hit him in the face and the boat tumped over dumping him in the water. Of course you had to go save him, and someone, I'm not naming names here, somebody punched a hole in the boat's hull and we had to hike the ten miles back to the car so we could go home.

Date: 2008-10-21 01:52 pm (UTC)Actually, I made that up, here's the real memory.
It was a harvest moon that night. We were sharing a bottle of chardonnay left over from the party you held last week to celebrate the coming season. We were discussing bipartisan politics when you suddenly confided in me your desire to formulate a lasting mathematical system that safely and efficiently handles Godel's Incompleteness.
Then I started spouting something about nudity and you shook your head, saying that I would never change. I agreed and confided how wonderful it was that you were one of the few constants in the universe. It was heartwarming.
Thanks for the memories.
