If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your LJ and see what your friends come up with.

(Right, I'll actually post something...later.)

You remember that time we went fishing, right? It was me, you, and Carscaddon, and we picked up the canadian Jared on the way after you promised to fend off the Quebecois Special Commandos after he defrauded them for 50 bucks and a hit of crack in Ontario.

But anyway, the best part was when Carscaddon was in the boat, remember? And that big old bass jumped out of the water, hit him in the face and the boat tumped over dumping him in the water. Of course you had to go save him, and someone, I'm not naming names here, somebody punched a hole in the boat's hull and we had to hike the ten miles back to the car so we could go home.

Oh, come on, you wuss. Only half the hike back was through a freezing cold lake. The rest was on perfectly manageable thorn-infested land.

That one time when we had to defend ourselves against a monster of a man bent on our total and complete destruction, and then he knocked me flat so I was helpless! You swooped in to defend me, were doing a great job of it...and then you rolled a 1.

Yeah, I still haven't forgiven you for that...

Yeah. Stupid lousy rotten dice hating me.

The three 2s in a row on my saving throws at least made things fair in the end.

Oh, yeah. That time we dropped paint bombs on sunbathers. A classic.

Remember when you and I travel back in time and we almost cause the internet to never be invented because we showed that one kid some youtube videos? Ah, good times. ^_~

Yeah, the third rickroll might have been a bit much.

It's a bit of a vague memory, but I can recall some bits from that time when we were discussing random anime and accidentally discovered the secret of Life, the Universe and Everything, and it caused the universe to be recreated. Presumably to be more complex so this kind of thing wouldn't happen again. Or maybe just to be sillier; who can tell anyway.

Yeah.

I think Douglas Adams was created in this universe so that we'd have the warning this time.

I seem to recall that you and I engaged in a battle of wits involving cups of poisoned apple cider and a certain Canadian princess.

Actually, I made that up, here's the real memory.

It was a harvest moon that night. We were sharing a bottle of chardonnay left over from the party you held last week to celebrate the coming season. We were discussing bipartisan politics when you suddenly confided in me your desire to formulate a lasting mathematical system that safely and efficiently handles Godel's Incompleteness.

Then I started spouting something about nudity and you shook your head, saying that I would never change. I agreed and confided how wonderful it was that you were one of the few constants in the universe. It was heartwarming.

Thanks for the memories.

Yeah. Still working on that mathematical system, admittedly. Maybe I can work the Riemann Hypothesis in somewhere.

Glad to hear you still remember me as a constant.
