So, some bad news.

As those friends I see in IRC or some other chat might have surmised, my computer is dead. Took it in to the repair shop yesterday, and the verdict is: kaput. Mainboard dead.

This is, as one might surmise, rather annoying.

So, I'm looking at paying the cost of a new computer to fix it, or, well, getting a new computer. Dangit, I should've gotten applecare - I decide not to /one time/, and this happens...

Sigh. Was hoping for a cheerier return to posting, honestly.

Hope everything works out for you, Whacker of Gulls. My personal opinion is that if you're gonna spend enough to get a new computer, you might as well get a new computer.

Yeah, planning on it. Besides, the case is dented, the CD drive's been iffy, the battery life...
