1. You have the ultimate power to give or take life. Who are the first three people you kill?
....hmm. Tough question. Given that I have at most annoyance towards people, and not murderous rage. I'd probably find some shiny artifact thing to channel this power into, and hide it somewhere no one would ever find it. Like at the bottom of the ocean, hidden in a box marked 'Progessive-Conservative Leadership Convention Speeches'. Actually, wait. I know who I'd want to kill. The moths in our house, the ants in our house, and the horseflies at Cedar Lake. VENGEANCE AT LAST.
So I'd use this ultimate power to be a bug exterminator. Yay.
2. What is the secret to a good life?
Hmm. Let's see. There's the Socratic/Platonic/Aristotalean view, which says that the good life comes from being virtuous, knkowing virtue, doing virtue, et cetera. I'll skip a lot of the later more religious ones. And then there's the Existentialist view, which says that a good life is an authentic one. Yay for Arts 1000.
I kind of like the Existentialist view, myself - the secret to a good life is to take command of your life, and steer it rather than let yourself be nudged around by others. Mind, by those standards, I'm not exactly living a good life. x_X
My other answer would be that the secret's in helping others. Actually, I think I'm leaning towards that one more, as it's something that I can do and enjoy. Though I'm probably biased in who I'm helping. <.<
3. Everyone else on earth has seemingly just vanished, and you have all of the world all to yourself. What do you do?
....hmm. First I'd have to notice. No one talking on IRC might be a clue. =P Then...probably angst a lot. I'd probably be too worried about what's happened to the people I care about to do anything constructive.
4. If you could have any body part replaced by a cybernetic one, what would it be?
Hmm...right forearm. Have some sort of computer and energy shield type thing in there. Why? Uh...dunno. Probably wouldn't seriously want to have cybertechnology in me, though. So maybe my answer would be nothing. Gah I'm being wishy-washy this interview.
5. What words of wisdom would you like to share with the world at large?
"Everyone changes over time, and there is no normal." Get out there and explore new stuff. And don't think you're the last bastion of sanity, as that's just from your point of view. =P
