Luke knew that he was trapped. It was impossible that he and Tear could escape now. Funny thing is, this realization didn't sink in when they were first sucked into this old book. He was shocked at first of course, but he figured magic got him into the book, magic could get them out.
Then the cute talking yellow bear appeared. Then came the bouncing tiger along with the little shy pig and the high strung rabbit. As soon as he saw Tear's eyes lit up gleefully while being surrounded by these over cute creatures, Luke groaned. He was indeed trapped.
