So have a lot of people, but do you have any reason to use one other than brand loyalty? I honestly don't understand the allure when you end up complaining about incompatibility issues with games and so on. Do you use your Mac for anything that only Macs can specifically do? The only advantage I'm really aware of is that they're handy for art, and even then I'm ignorant of the specifics of why they're better.
A PC would probably be a bit easier on your budget, too.
