Life, the internet, and re-introductions.

Once upon a time, I had a LiveJournal. Sometimes I remembered to post to it, sometimes I didn't.
Then, one day, I decided I was uncomfortable having that account active, and migrated all my posts to Dreamwidth. I had the intent of maybe continuing to write, but never really got around to it.
Then the other day, I discovered a few neat people here, started following, and went 'huh, I wonder if I should revive this account'. It's a place I feel more comfortable venting my thoughts, compared to Twitter or Tumblr, and so here maybe I can get back into a writing habit. Time might tell, and interest contrasts with ability.
Much has changed. I've gone from renter to homeowner, student to employee, partner to parent. Some interests I was once rabid about I've now forgotten, others I've kept up to some degree or other, yet others are newfound fun things. To those reading my journal - my old entries might be embarrassing in places, might no longer reflect how I am now - but they're a part of what led me to who I am now.
So, hello, world. I go by Gull or Gullwhacker, I've come to realize I'm kind of ambivalent about he/she/they for online pronouns, and I enjoy binge-reading things and occasionally overthinking details. Pleased to meet you.
